Adapted sports center

It is one of three ski resorts in Catalonia recognized by the Catalan Tourist Board as a promoter of adapted sports and tourism. It obtained the IAKS distinction award on accessibility in 2009 and became the second resort in the world in winning the IAKS special award in architecture for advanced sports facilities. IAKS is the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities which, together with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), distinguish every two years sports facilities for their design and functionality.

Thus, in summer, La Molina offers people with different disabilities the opportunity to enjoy the mountain and the surroundings with a wide range of bikes, which are adapted to people with disabilities. The resort also enables the practice of downhill biking. In addition, the adapted sports center offers activities such as the Adventure Park, archery, quads for adults and children, boating, tubbing, the gondola lift and the package "superadventure + accommodation".

La Molina has many activities adapted and fully accessible to people with disabilities:

• Handbikes with adapted circuit
• Routes with handbikes
• Swimming pool with a fixed chair in the showers
• Quad rides
• Tubbing
• Zipline adapted to the Tree Adventure Park
• Enjoy the surroundings and the views using the Cadí-Moixeró Gondola which has an access ramp for people with reduced mobility.

Adapted parking spaces, specific equipment rental for different types of disabilities, access to different bars and restaurants as well as toilets adapted for wheelchairs make La Molina a referent.
